Chef's tip : To transform shortbread cookies into Christmas tree decorations, use a piping bag nozzle to make small holes in the top of each cookie as you cut them out with the cookie cutter. Once the cookies are baked, assembled, and decorated, thread a ribbon through the holes, tie a knot, and hang them on the Christmas tree.
Preparations

- Add the softened butter and knead for 1–2 minutes until a smooth dough is obtained.

- Put the Nutella® in a piping bag fitted with a small nozzle (approximately 2 mm), pipe about 5 g of Nutella® onto half of the biscuits, then sandwich them together with the remaining biscuits to form the filled shortbread cookies. The piping bag can also be used to decorate the house-shaped shortbread cookies with windows, a roof, and a door.
- To transform shortbread cookies into Christmas tree decorations, use a piping bag nozzle to make small holes in the top of each cookie as you cut them out with the cookie cutter.
